The DBA is taking design into government. Following the announcement of this year’s Design Effectiveness Awards, an exhibition of winning work will be launched in Parliament on the 29 November at an exclusive private view. Ministers and parliamentarians will see first-hand the critical influence design can have on business performance and the impact of creativity on the UK economy as a whole.

The exhibition is a collaboration between the DBA and the Parliamentary Design Group (PDG) and marks the commitment of both organisations to build a long-term relationship to bring design to government.

PDG is a dynamic all party forum dedicated to inspiring and engaging parliamentarians about the value of effective design in stimulating and supporting UK economic growth. By linking up with the DBA, PDG is able to support its mission with the evidence provided by the winning case studies from the DBA Design Effectiveness Awards.

Members of both the House of Commons and House of Lords, as well as civil servants and government department officials are expected at the event, and the Award winners will be invited, along, with their clients to attend. The Grand Prix winner will have the opportunity to present their case study.

The exhibition will take place as part of National Design Congress; a week-long programme of Parliamentary meetings focusing on design and innovation in UK businesses.
