Diversity in design is an initiative to find out the real level of diversity within the design industry and whether the industry is a true reflection of British society today.

It’s an important initiative and we would really encourage you to take the time to complete the online survey at www.diversityindesign.org.uk

The deadline to respond is Thursday 10 August. It’s totally anonymous and no individual agencies will be named in the resulting report.

The survey has been set up by salterbaxter with the help and support of the DBA, Design Council, Race for Opportunity, Age Positive, London Design Festival, Employer’s Forum on Disability, Business in the Community and Periscope.

Once the results have been compiled, a review will be undertaken to establish what can be done at an industry level to tackle the issue of diversity within the industry.
