Wally
Olins in the chair
London
8 March 2007:
Putting Wally in
the 'hot seat' were the following panellists:
Kathryn
Sloane, New Business Manager, Pearlfisher
An unstoppable networker with a global reach, Kathryn has
turned contacts into clients from Sydney to Shanghai. She
now exploits her gregarious charms from Pearlfisher’s
London office, wooing clients like InBev, Liberty and Pizza
Express to our fold. Once Kathryn’s finished working
the room, you’ll most likely find her on the dancefloor
– with a cocktail in one hand and a clutch of new contacts
in the other.
Gianni Tozi,
Creative Director
Enterprise
IG
Designer and art director Gianni has developed projects for
clients such as Philips, Motorola, Orange, Fujitsu, Indesit
and Vodafone, among others.
His personal work has been shown in exhibitions in Italy,
Japan and the UK, and has been reviewed by several international
magazines.
He has a deep understanding of design culture and different
trends in society across international markets. His ability
and willingness to combine this reasoned understanding with
intuitive inspiration is an essential part of his working
practice. His drink of choice is tea (milk, 1 sugar if you’re
putting the kettle on), which fuels his creative energy, leadership,
vision and optimism.
Born Italian, he arrived in the UK via the Royal College of
Art.
Sarah Lewis,
Designer, Navyblue
Retired roller dancer. Hat addict. Art director of a post-feminist
feminist
magazine. Festival regular. Billy Holliday fan. Red head.
Graphic designer.
A London born Midlands bred idealistic realist, I choose out
over in, yes
over no and sooner over later.
Encouraged to explore my creative side by my Mother (who was
not allowed to
study art at school) I studied Graphic Arts and Design at
Leeds Metropolitan
University, where I edited the course magazine before taking
the path well
worn to London.
A brief stint at Dazed and Confused and a collaboration with
Love led me to
Blue Source, where I worked as a junior before joining Navyblue
a year ago.
