DBA talks to Government about Procurement

The DBA plans to launch a set of recommendations into Government in the autmn about how they could more effectively procure design services. We have worked with the Associate Parliamentary Group for Design and Innovation (APGDI) to facilitate three panel sessions within parliament.

The first session look place in May (further sessions planned for June & July) and was chaired by Baroness Whitaker. The panel questioned a variety of design experts about the challenges that designers face up and down the country when tendering for public projects.
