The Experts Register
database will be a refereed online directory of experts who
offer design consultancies strategic advice and guidance.
All must have a minimum of three years' experience to be considered
for accreditation by the DBA.
The aim of the Register
is to provide DBA members with advice on issues such as succession
planning, restructuring, new business and business strategy.
Deborah Dawton,
Chief Executive of the DBA said 'The consultants are experts
in their field and will be offering fee-based professional
advice; they are not suppliers.'
The Register will
be open for experts to register at the end of September.
The process of following
up references will then take the DBA approximately 2-3 weeks.
The DBA aim to launch
the Register to members through the DBA website at the end
of November.
