An opportunity
to find out "everything you need to know" about
designing drinks cans. All the latest design features, how
to make the most of drinks cans and much more.
There is no charge
for attending the workshop and it is open to all levels of
people in agencies.
The background
UK consumers drink 8 billion cans of soft drinks, beer and
cider each year, so drinks cans are an important part of the
packaging mix. This is an opportunity to learn more about
this pack and how to make the most of it for your clients.
The workshop
The Can Makers, who represent the UK drinks can manufacturers,
is hosting a Designers Workshop from 2:15pm to 6:30pm on Wednesday
28 March at the Can Makers' in Blackfriars, London. The workshop
will include a mix of displays, video material, talks and
discussions together with interactive sessions where there
will be an opportunity to view the latest new and innovative
can sizes and features that can be used for drinks cans and
ends e.g. inks, finishes, embossing etc.. Also short talks
on designing a can, systems economics, and the environment.
There will be industry experts on hand to answer questions
about the production processes and the many features that
are available to you.
After the presentations there will be an opportunity to network
with peers and with members of the Can Makers over refreshments.
