AGM
Come and hear about
what we've achieved in the 12 months to December 2005.
Consultation
Take part in a discussion
that could result in the most significant change in the process
of becoming a member since the DBA was launched in 1986. This
will impact existing members.
We'd like you to give some consideration to the most significant
change in the process of becoming a DBA member being proposed
since the DBA was launched in 1986. So if you haven't ever
attended an AGM before, then make this your first.
Why are we proposing a change? While the
commercial imperative to use design within business to yield
greater company profit is becoming more commonplace, clients
still struggle to identify the right design consultancy to
work in partnership with them. Sorting out the wheat from
the chaff has driven the DBA to consider launching a Professional
Assurance Scheme which means that as a DBA member, clients
will know that you operate your business to a professional
standard as set out by the DBA. This scheme will enable you
to
respond more effectively to procurement demands. We'd like
to take the opportunity at the AGM to talk you through our
thinking so far in order to
gauge your response.
Please confirm your
attendance by Wednesday 7th June for catering purposes. If
you require copies of any of the EGM and AGM documentation
please contact Emer O'Toole on 020 7251 9229 or emer.otoole@dba.org.uk
