| Kevin
Duncan, author of Tick Achieve, will use his no-nonsense
liberating approach to enable you and your business
to get the important things done, and exclude the unnecessary.
He will challenge you to take a hard look at how you
work and explain how you can achieve more without compromising
quality. If you want to improve your productivity, and
that of your team, then this is the workshop for you
Issues to be discussed include:
Progress
not perfection
When writer,
painter, poet, and film-maker Derek Jarman was asked
how he had managed to be so prolific he replied, “I
was lucky – I wasn't born a perfectionist.” The pursuit
of perfection can be taken too far. How and when do
you decide that your response to a task is “good enough”?
Talk
can be the enemy of action
How often do
you long to just “get on with it” but have to sit through
painful meetings discussing minute detail? How can you
cut through the chat and get on with the action?
Never
touch a piece of paper or email more than once
How big is your
inbox? It used to be said that an untidy desk meant
an untidy mind – now technology hides it. Read it, then
action, file or bin it – how not to drown in email and
paper.
