Thursday 29 March 2012 | Manchester

All agencies are different, having been set up and led by unique individuals. Some leaders are more successful at building a great agency than others. An owner/manager’s leadership style affects the culture of the organisation, the ability to recruit and retain talent and ultimately the profitability and value of the business.

There are many myths about “great” leaders. Perhaps you’ve wondered whether you are one (or could become one) of those great leaders.

This workshop will help you to identify where your strengths lie; whether you are an entrepreneur, a manager or a great leader (or even a bit of everything). We will show you why some management teams are more successful than others at building great agencies. By understanding the strengths and weaknesses of such teams you will learn to recognise your own strengths and limitations, and those of your team, and how they might impact on your ability to grow your business.

You will learn:

  • A holistic approach to leading an agency.

  • What makes an agency special.

  • Why setting goals is so important.

  • What a leader’s role is.

  • What behaviours make leaders successful.

  • What your core leadership competencies are and how they might affect your chances of success.

  • What characteristics your team needs to be even more successful.

  • What type of culture exists in your agency.

  • What small changes you could make to improve your chances of success.
