Membership of the DBA is tax deductable. As a business
expense you can claim back up to a third of your yearly fee in tax
relief because the Treasury classes membership to a trade association
as a vital business tool.
DBA membership is rolling and split into yearly subscriptions. Every
member is contacted prior to their next year and given the option
of whether to renew for another 12 months. If renewing, companies
will be billed and legally bound to pay for the full year. Companies
wishing to cease membership part-way through a subscription year
must give three months written notice by registered post and pay
any fees outstanding for the year.
