Win Without Pitching UK Tour

13-20 October 2006

Our expert speaker, Blair Enns, brought the Win Without Pitching business development philosophy to the UK for the first time this autumn, equipping design professionals with the confidence to say no to free pitching.

Over 260 delegates nationwide came along to listen to his approach to business development.

His philosopy looked at ways to enable consultancies to command greater respect, earn higher fees and secure new business without having to part with their highest value product – their thinking. While building a case for growing a design consultancy without pitching free ideas, his ideas challenged numerous conventions along the way and demystified the mythologies of selling.

As an owner/manager of a design consultancy, Blair helped delegates rethink their roles as a salespeople and explained how what a consultancy sells, is determined by how it sells.

Blair challenges the assumptions of what is required to win business and offers a way out of the vicious cycles of endless pitches and proposals.

The tour kicked-off with a London breakfast lecture chaired by

Lynda Relph-Knight, Editor of Design Week.

Followed by events across the UK in Edinburgh, Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol.
