Following the resounding success of the Win Without Pitching lecture tour and an overwhelming demand for 'MORE', in March Blair returned to the UK to run a series of one-day workshops in collaboration with the DBA.

The workshops explored the entire Win Without Pitching business development approach giving those who took part a chance to dig deeper into the processes and methodology of this new business strategy.

Topics to be addressed included:
• Positioning your consultancy for profit
• Qualifying the client-to-be
• Nurturing the early-stage new business opportunities
• Closing the late-stage new business opportunities
• Building and using process-framed case studies
• Assigning personnel: rethinking the rainmaker

For those who missed out last year on Blair's first lecture tour the DBA ran his introductory lecture on alternatives to speculative pitching, once more this March, recieving rave reviews from those who came along!

The lecture focused on ways to enable consultancies to command greater respect, earn higher fees and secure new business - all without having to part with their highest value product - their creativity and thinking!

It examined how to build a case for growing a design consultancy without pitching free ideas, challenging numerous conventions along the way and demystified the mythologies of selling.

It also challenged the assumptions of what is required to win business and offered a way out of the vicious cycles of endless pitches and proposals.

The DBA and Blair Enns ran the breakfast lecture on Thursday 22 March at the Commonwealth Club in London.
