Essential advice to support your design business:

The DBA is running free webinars to directly support design businesses through the coronavirus pandemic. Each week our webinar hosts are chosen for their expertise and ability to inform on particular issues and challenges design businesses are currently facing. 

The recordings and notes from each webinar are made available for DBA Members to access after the recording. Sign up here to receive updates on the latest DBA activity.

Join us online for the DBA Design Effectiveness Awards ceremony

Broadcasting live this Wednesday at midday, the DBA Design Effectiveness Awards will celebrate the achievements of the 2020 winners and will include the announcement of who’s won the prestigious Grand Prix. Open to all and free to attend. We look forward to seeing you there.

The DBA Annual Survey is now open. You can input your business’ data up to 17 July; participation will ensure you can benefit from full access to the Report when published later this year.

The ‘Ask an Expert’ initiative is seeing really productive conversations across a diverse range of queries. The service provides DBA members with free design-sector specific advice available at the end of the phone (or Zoom!). It’s very straightforward to schedule your call; find out more and get in touch with a DBA Expert today.


Our HR partner Croner will be delivering a free webinar for DBA members on Wednesday 10 June at 12.30pm. They’ll be exploring a variety of scenarios design businesses may currently be facing in-regards to their people and will be outlining options and processes to help you manage these situations. On Friday the Chancellor announced phased changes to furlough; Moore Kingston Smith have prepared this handy summary of the stages. The furlough scheme will close to new entrants on 30 June, which means the final date you can furlough an employee for the first time is 10 June.
