BETTER FUTURE Embassy @ London Design Festival 2025
Thursday 18 September, 9am-1pm BST | Space House, London WC2B 4AN
At a time when global trade faces unprecedented challenges, BETTER FUTURE Embassy provides a platform and meeting point for design and architecture studios to connect with international business opportunities.
Staged in partnership with the DBA, the inaugural BETTER FUTURE Embassy will present a range of perspectives on international business with a particular focus on opportunities in India, poised to be the world’s third-largest economy by 2030.
DBA member, Mark Hannant, Co-founder of IndigoCPO, will share his experiences of operating in India and Deborah Dawton, Chief Executive of the DBA, will highlight the Association’s work in opening new markets and how it enlists the support of the government to do this.
Drawing on BETTER FUTURE’s global network, established through twenty annual awards programmes, BETTER FUTURE Embassy will provide practical and insightful information, contacts and routes to new markets. Events include expert presentations, project spotlights, and market overviews alongside practical advice on how studios can develop international trade strategies and opportunities to network with both speakers and fellow delegates.
The first BETTER FUTURE Embassy event takes place at the London Design Festival’s primary trade event – Material Matters.
The half-day forum will be split into three sections:
– Building and promoting multi-national creative business
– Pushing at open doors for creative studios
– Conversations and connections
Other speakers include:
- Mark Bergin, Founder and Chair – BETTER FUTURE Awards
- Chris Heyes, Commercial Director – UK India Business Council
- Christine Losecaat MBE, Founder – Little Dipper International creative promotion
- Kirsty Dias, Managing Director – PriestmanGoode.
Join us in London on Thursday, 18 September, to imagine what could be – and learn how to make it happen.
