Emily has been in the world of design for over 25 years across strategy, copywriting, agency marketing, and new business development. She spent 15 years working in-house at agencies before setting up her brand voice studio, Becolourful.
Emily has sat on award juries for the Design Week Awards, D&AD, and Brand Impact Awards. She’s lectured at London Metropolitan University and spoken on webinars and podcasts for the DBA, Creative Boom and Small Spark Theory. In 2024, Emily launched her brand positioning framework, BrandStrand® and in 2025 co-authored Fully Saturated, a deep dive report on design agency positioning. Emily is a strong advocate of collaboration and champions community and connection in the creative sector.
