Erica Wolfe-Murray, Founder, Lola MediaErica founded Lola Media three years ago to help companies innovate using their intellectual assets. Focussing primarily on the creative, media and tech sectors, she works with companies across the spectrum from GBH Design to UK Parliament, from Harvey Nicks to the Intellectual Property Office, from start-ups to Hackney Empire, the LCC and Shoreditch House.
She helps them find new ways of using their existing assets, new revenues, audiences and ways of building IP. She also runs a training programme – Intelligent Creativity – putting together courses for Creative England, Skillset, the British Council and the University of Wales.
Having started her career in mainstream advertising with clients such as British Airways, London Transport and Dairy Crest, Erica moved from the account management side to copywriting for the Conran Design Group, working on the relaunch of Heal’s, Habitat, the Conran Shop and Mothercare.
She later joined the Small Back Room where she became a director with the responsibility for B2C clients such as NatWest, Next, Courtaulds and Saatchis.
Erica went on to jointly start an independent production company, at the same time as starting her own small design company, working for clients such as Dolland & Aitchison, Muscular Dystrophy Group, the London Zoo.
For ten years she worked at Touch Productions, launching and running joint a venture with National Geographic. Clients included the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, Discovery, Animal Planet.
Having fulfilled roles as Creative Director and Financial Director, Erica is able to advise on intellectual assets from both a creative and financial perspective.
